Senior Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee

Mr. Perlioni is a Senior Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Cherry Creek Family Offices. Mr. Perlioni has over 25 years of investment experience across all asset classes and geographies, playing a pivotal role overseeing the firm’s investment mandates.

Prior to joining Cherry Creek Family Offices, he served as the Vice President of Investments and Chief Investment Officer for Johns Hopkins University, where he oversaw all aspects of the investment program for over $9 billion of endowment and other investment assets for the University and its affiliated organizations.  During his tenure the investment portfolio doubled, and the team trebled in size; he also served in a leadership capacity on several related entity investment committees.

Before his tenure at Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Perlioni spent ten years as the Chief Investment Officer at the multi-billion dollar single family office of Pritzker Group, where he was charged with building and leading the newly formed Asset Management business.

Mr. Perlioni built his investment career initially as a portfolio manager at the Northwestern University endowment office, where he managed hedge funds and distressed debt portfolios, and contributed to overall asset allocation and risk management. He also served as a Director and Portfolio Manager at UBS Global Asset Management, and previously as a management consultant serving Fortune 500 industrial clients while at Arthur D. Little and Price Waterhouse LLP.

Mr. Perlioni earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He also serves as an investment committee advisor for the Art Institute of Chicago, and as board member and investment committee member for the Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.  He also serves on the Invest for Kids Advisory Committee, and formerly served on the Rice University Alumni Board.
