Kevin W. Burke
Managing Partner
Mr. Burke is a Managing Partner and Chairs the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Burke has over 30 years of investment experience across all asset classes and geographies.
Prior to joining CCFO, he was a partner at Victory Park Capital, a $6b private capital investment management firm. At Victory Park, he was a member of the investment committee and was responsible for the firm's investment strategy expansion. More recently, he returned to his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, where he spearheaded the launch of the Institute for Global Investing to create a world-class investing, research and education facility and served on the University's Investment Office Portfolio Strategy Review Committee. Prior to joining Notre Dame and from 2007 - 2016, Mr. Burke was President, Co-Founding Partner, and Head of Risk at Conatus Capital, a Greenwich, CT based multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm. Beforehand, Mr. Burke spent thirteen years at Merrill Lynch holding various leadership positions within the Global Markets and Investment Banking (GMI) division in both London and New York. In 1989, he began his investing career in Chicago working for Kemper Financial Services and The Chicago Corporation.
Mr. Burke holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BA from the University of Notre Dame and is a Series 65 license holder. He is a former teaching professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Notre Dame (2016-2018) and sits on the Board of Directors and is Vice Chair of Investment Committee at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, the Investment Committee for Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver and on the Advisory Boards of Girls Who Invest and Turning Rock Capital Partners. He resides in Denver and Chicago with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters.
